The Eagles seemed 2 be a team that could make the Super Bowl this year with the performances from there backups.  Greg Lewis had 5 receptions for 104 yards.  Hank Baskett had 2 catches for 102 yards.  DeSean Jackson had a big rookie showing with 6 catches for 106 yards.  Donovan McNabb looked motivated to win the Super Bowl.  He had a veteran performance and threw for 361 yards and 3 TDs.  Brian Westbrook wasn't at his best but had a solid evening with 91 yards and 2 TDs.
My biggest surprise was that we did this without are top 2 Wide Outs.  Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown both missed the game with injuries.  This is a good sign that the Eagles have some depth at Wide Out.
The Eagles defense seemed to be as good as they have ever been when they only gave up 166 yards and 3 points.  They also had 4 sacks.
If the Eagles can put up these numbers regularly we could be a Super Bowl calliber team.  The Eagles also had less penalties then in past years.  The Eagles just seemed to have the Rams number all day when they made sure that Steven Jackson wasn't going anywhere.  My one question is; can they keep this up all year?
